DUNDEE, NY - With rain reeking havoc on the Northeast racing scene this season, the need to clarify the upcoming schedule for the Black Rock Speedway is needed.

June 27- There will be no racing at BRS this Friday. With Dundee Graduation just down the road, for the second straight year the track will lie dormant to honor those seniors and give the racers an opportunity to regroup for the second half of the year.

July 3- A special Thursday program will be run with a majority of the Indy Racing League contingent on hand to race, sign autographs, and watch some great racing.

Swarthout Recycling & We-Care Transportation will present the IRL Meet and Greet, the Marble’s Automotive Modifieds, Freedom Village USA Late Models, Signs Plus of Kanona 4-Cylinders and Home Necessities Bandits. The New York Modified Midgets will also be on the card along with an enduro.

The street stocks, and at a time the sportsman, were also posted on preliminary schedules. Because both divisions have tour races at Rolling Wheels that night, they will not be running this special Thursday show.

Racing will start at the standard 6:45 p.m. starting time, with adult tickets just $10.

July 4- The Black Rock Speedway will be off for the Independence Holiday.

July 11- Friday Night racing will resume with a $10,000 Christmas in July Give-a-Way. The Midstate Vintage Stockcars will replace the modifieds on this night.

July 25- The huge fireworks show postponed this past week will be made up this night to go along with a firefighter enduro and spectator races that substitute for the modifieds and help to maintain a full show.
